We’re so excited to announce that Kanata Theatre has been nominated for a number of Capital Critics Circle awards for the 2017-2018 season.

Kanata Theatre has been nominated for 5 awards:

Best Production (Community), Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike by Christopher Durang, directed by Jim Holmes

Best Director (Community), Jim Holmes for Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike by Christopher Durang

Best Actor (Community), Josh Sparks as Eddie in A Year in the death of Eddie Jester by T. Gergory Argall, directed by Stavros Sakiadis

Best Actress (Community), Chrissy Hollands as Sonia in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike by Christopher Durang, directed by Jim Holmes

Tartan Award for Best Design (Community), Heidi Roberts for the set design of Arsenic and Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring, directed by Jim Clarke

The awards ceremony will be held from 7 to 9PM at the National Arts Center Salon on Monday, December 3rd 2018.

The 2018 Finale awards are hosted by the National Arts Centre and sponsored by Barbara Crook Greenberg, Alan Dean Photography, Nicholas Wojtas Photography, Coyle Publishing and Tartan Homes.
