BARBARA KOBOLAK (Director) has been a member of Kanata Theatre since 1989—this is her second KT directing effort. Audiences may also remember her from such roles as Barbara (Pack of Lies), Gwen (Here on the Flight Path), Maggie (Dancing at Lughnasa), and Bella (Lost in Yonkers); last spring she was Edith Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (Phoenix Players). She has previously directed for Phoenix and for the one-act play readings at Ottawa Little Theatre. Barbara currently sits on the Kanata Theatre board as vice-president, and is also on the board of the Eastern Ontario Drama League. Thanks to everyone for serving up such a delightful production!

BARBARA KOBOLAK (Gwen) was last seen on stage as the jokester sister Maggie in Dancing at Lughnasa. She has acted, worked off stage, and directed at Kanata Theatre since 1989. Other KT roles have included Bella in Lost in Yonkers, Lenny in Crimes of the Heart, Barbara in The Snow Ball, and Lily Belle in The Curious Savage. Her previous Foster experience was as Ruth in Phoenix Players’ Opening Night in 2004. Barbara has also performed at Ottawa Little Theatre, Tara Players and Lakeside Players.

BARBARA KOBOLAK (Sally Chessington) first appeared on Kanata Theatre’s stage as Lenny in Crimes of the Heart. She has since appeared in eight other Kanata Theatre productions including Dancing at LughnasaLost in Yonkers, and most recently as Gwen in Here on the Flight Path. Barbara has also acted with Ottawa Little Theatre, Tara Players, and Phoenix Players. She has directed for Phoenix Players and, in 2002 directed Rumplestiltskin – A Rockin’ Musical for Kanata Theatre. Barbara is on the executive of the Eastern Ontario Drama League.

BARBARA KOBOLAK (Barbara Jackson) has acted in over 35 community theatre productions in the Ottawa region; other contributions have been in directing, and stage management or crew. Selected Kanata Theatre credits include: Sally (Cash on Delivery), Maggie (Dancing at Lughnasa), Bella (Lost in Yonkers), and Gwen (Here on the Flight Path). Barbara is also on the executive of the Eastern Ontario Drama League, and provides support to her husband, Tom, for Romeo and Juliet to be presented in May.
